RE: Tour Striker Pro video

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the note, I appreciate it!!! I'm glad you've learned the
concept so quickly. I love your posts on GolfWrx.

We'll send you another DVD. In the meantime, you can view it on the Tour
Striker website. There's a link on the home page.

Cheers,

Martin

Cmartingolf,

happyroman has sent you this email from
http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index.php.

Hi Martin,

I recently received my TSP and absolutely love it. In two short practice
sessions, I have added a good 10 yards to every club in the bag!

I have a question. Was a DVD supposed to come with the club? If so, I
inadvertently threw it out with the packaging. Would it be possible for
you to send another one?

My order and account numbers are, respectively, 104410 and 2868.
Thanks.

Andy

Hello Martin,

I received my new tour striker this afternoon and promptly took it to the range for a try out.  I grabbed a dozen balls and headed for the sand.  As you might imagine, I topped the first five or six balls and then magic - I stripped three in a row!  It was a fantastic feel, very crisp and the ball flight was penetrating and longer than any other 8 iron I have ever hit from a trap.

I then went to the range and gradually started hitting with half swings and it just really clicked for me.  Moving on to a full swing, at first my shots were a bit thin, but I gradually got it and I was really (for the first time) compressing the ball.  So, that's what it feels like!

I could not be happier with the club, the very first golf training aid I have ever purchased.  This is a great product and one that will help landscapers like me take it to the next level.  I will highly recommend it to all my golf buddies.  By the way, I watched the instructional DVD which was excellent and a great introduction to the lag concept.  Well done!

My complements to your partners at The Golf Agency and to Rich.  I received my club promptly and Rich's customer service was just outstanding.

Thank you for your innovative concept.  You really are on to something.

Best regards,

John

FW: Tour Striker

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the note.

The TS has margin for a tiny flip. The TSP requires pretty darn sound
impact alignments with no flip. Of course, the striking surface has a
lot to do with the impact alignments. Tight turf is the best.

The goal for a great strike is "4 and 4." Four degrees of downward
strike with 4 degrees of forward shaft lean. Some guys think they need
to "mash" down on it, when in reality, the steepness isn't the answer,
simply a semi-shallow attack with a subtle forward lean. That's the key
to the "Tour Player" divot. Most flippers have a shallow attack with no
lean or a steep attack with no lean.

Your realization is exactly what I want people to figure out... how to
make the TSP sing with your own thoughts and feels (with Brian's help:))
and then apply it to your own game! Nice job.

Take care and thanks for the feedback,

Martin,

I have purchased the Tour Striker and had some success with it. I felt I
could still game it a little and get away with a little flip, so I
purchased a TS Pro off Ebay. Wow. I could hit nothing but belt high line
drives with a swing where I kept some weight left and really tried to
hit down on it...keeping the right shoulder up. Trying real hard to
swing left. No luck.

Then I went back to my NSA swing keeping my head back on the downswing
and Presto! nice, high, straight ballflight. Why would this work when
the steeper trapping shot doesn't? Thanks for coming up with a training
aid that really works.

Tour Striker Testimonial

Really has helped

I really like the tour striker, together with the excellent video by
Martin
Chuck, I have really improved my ball striking, substantially.

My biggest problem now is my head, I am not used to being 4 over after
8
holes, so somehow manage to screw up the last hole or 2 of a nine to
keep me
at a comfort level. But Wow, I can really seem my potential
improving!

Thanks for developing such a useful tool.

Martin,

I have not heard from your director. Little FYI - Broke 80 for the first time - Shot 78 - ( If I could of made some putts, I might of shot par. ) My problem now is distance - I keep getting longer with my irons. I keep over shooting greens. What a great problem to have for once.

I have notice one problem - although my driving is straight, I have lost some distance. My spin rate on my driver is way to high (around 4,000)  I must be hitting down with the driver.

Thanks again for the creation of the tour striker.

RE: A happy "customer" with a question/issue

Hi Doc,

Thanks for the note. My pleasure on all that golf stuff...that's what I
do! Come visit me at Tetherow. It's awesome.

If the TS Pro is too hard, you can cheat it a bit and give yourself more
of a preferred lie. I even has some "newbies" hit it off a tee until
they can work the tee into the ground to the point they don't need it at
all.

Hang in there and if the frustration proves too much, send me another
note.

Cheers,

Martin

Martin

I REALLY appreciate your love for the game and for teaching us NON-pros.
Your videos on youtube are great.
I bought a tour striker pro just before Christmas, and while applying
your teaching concepts has improved
my ball striking a good deal with "real" clubsl, especially with my
irons, I simply cannot hit the tourstriker pro-correctly
even when I limit myself to very short punch shots/even chip shots.

I LOVE a challenge but I think I may need to buy a tour striker from
you, keep the TS pro for if/when I can advance
to a higher level and go from there. I just found a video you did
dealing with this very issue for a guy who can hit
the TS but not the TSpro, but I had already on my own "figured out" and
tried repeatedly to do what you taught
us in that session with no success.

Any additional ideas? I am a 7 handicap who fights clubhead throw away/a
flip release...which is EXACTLY why I
need to learn how to use your great swing aid.

KEEP UP the good work, I appreciate your initiative in staying in touch
with us literally all over the world with
you excellent teaching concepts. I hope to get to Oregon sometime in the
next year or so and play your course
and maybe even get to meet you in person, would love to take a personal
lesson at some point.

God bless.

Dr. Brad
