Hi John,
I’m thrilled that the club has helped you! That is awesome. There is nothing wrong with starting in an inline “impact” condition other than you can lose some of the “buggy whip” and lag created during the backswing. I would encourage you to hit one in your impact condition and then hit a ball in a “mid-body” hands position and see if you can feel what I mean. The mid-body position allows for more the possibility of more lag and pressure on the club.
Take care,
Martin

Subject: impact question
Martin: My ball striking with the Tour Striker Pro improved perceptibly after I began swinging from the impact position. I then went back to the regular position and hit the ball much better. Doing this showed me how to get into the impact position.
Is there something intrinsically wrong with beginning the swing from the impact position?
Thanks for inventing this great swing improvement tool,
John Mc
