Whoa!!!!

Martin,

Thank you! I'm a 13 index. Playing for a little over two years, in love with the game. I've been taking lessons and improving steadily, but solid contact comes and goes. I bought the Tour Striker Pro 7i, feeling pretty sure it would help. I watched the video. None of the bare info was super-new to me as my teacher says many of the same things, but (and I was a writing teacher for many years, so I can really appreciate this) the way you said it, hit home. Especially the grape image. I went to the range. I was able to hit the ball with the TSP pretty crisply right away, and then it started to get away from me. Typical.

Then I remembered the grape image. My swing suddenly got very solid. Switched to my own 7 iron, and thwacked it like I never have before, much higher on the face than I usually do. It was frikkin awesome, but that was just the beginning of the best practice session I've ever had.

I started working on my wedges, defining distances from... more

Dear Tourstriker:

I received my Tourstriker last week and had positive results from the 1st ball.  I already was able to hit a good ball, but have not been able to do so consistently.  By the end of my first session the change was translated to my other irons.  My distance has increased also.  The key for me was the step by step grip instruction on the DVD.  I have always had a decent grip, but doing it exactly as instructed brought about instant consistency.

I am always skeptical of golf training aids.  There is no magic bullet.  Honestly, this is the first I've purchased.  But there was enough clarity in the online video to make me believe it might just be the real thing.

Thank you for a great product.

RE: tour striker club

Hi Dave,

Sorry for the long delay. Playing a ton of E-mail catch up.

First we don't compress the ball into the ground. That is a myth. We want to hit the ball with the longest lever our body will allow. To do that, a golfer has to have the right intent with the tool in hand. The intent of most players is to try and elevate the ball and thereby destroying maximum leverage at the moment of truth: impact.

So...the Tour Striker helps create the right intent for the golfer; a forward leaning shaft (4*) with a downward strike (4*). All good players have some element of lean and downward strike with balls played off the ground.

Divots are a function of the right intent and are partly due to the golf ball. I don't want people pounding down on the ball. The ball helps to deflect the club INTO the ground when the club is swung with the right intent. If someone is "picking" at the ball, then the clubs orbit has already been established and the ball can't help create the divot.

Hope that helps and thanks for the question.

Cheers,

Martin

Martin,

Interested in the club after seeing Gary McCord and your info commercial. I understand the purpose of the club and the effects of promoting proper impact position of the hands and club. My question to you is..if practice with this club is to be on very tight lies (low mown grass, hard mat or even a board) how does this promote true downward compresion of the ball with a following divot? I see within the commercial and also video's on Youtube the ball seems to more picked off the surface than compressed into and thru. Can one use this club in the manner attended and make quality following divots?

Thank You for you time,

Dear Martin and Stacey,

I'm sorry I haven't reported back until now, but today was the first

time I've had a chance to work with my Tour Striker. WOW!

My first time working with my "Striker" and for the FIRST time in my

life

1.) I actually had a great time and..

2.) I now understand the meaning of "hitting down on the ball"!

Oh yea, I also hit my irons futher, straighter and the "feel" of stricking the ball correctly was unlike anything I've ever experienced in all my life!!! I honestly never thought that I had

it in me to strike a golf ball like I was actually doing!

Now. I GET IT and it's GREAT!

As you can tell, I am blown away! And at nearly 60 years young,

that ain't easy to do!! I was so excited, I started calling all my friends from coast to coast to tell them of the "miracle"!

As I shared with you when I first contacted you; you're passion and love for the game comes through in a very warm and genuine manner.

Now, in my honest opinion, you have taken that passion and created the best training aid that is a one of a kind AND REALLY WORKS!!! I think every PGA teaching pro should be required to use the  "Tour Stricker" with their students!

Martin,

Thank your e-mail.

To make a long story short, it just came to me to move my hands forward sort of even with the ball which is different than what you recommended and for now that seems to be the answer b/c I really want that total confidence that I really know what works as far as being able to execute shot with out second guessing yourself.

And it might be that I will be a returning customer b/c I am curious between the differences of my “Pro Tour Striker 7 iron w/one inch extension” and how a normal “Tour Striker 5 Iron” or wedge.  Everyone that I see on the driving range gets an introduction to your Tour Striker if that means anything which brings up another issue.   Yes, “Tour Striker” is a great name but you could have named it the “Tour Striker Truth” because it doesn’t lie.  It will tell all you want to know about your swinging ability or lack thereof!

And anyone really wants to get better at ball striking has to know the amount work that is involved to really make the changes b/c this is not instant gratification but it does work.

Respectfully,

Michael

Dear Carlos,

Thanks so much for taking the time to  write me a note. I really appreciate it. I’m thrilled that the TS clubs are helping you with your game. It’s nice to know that the TS has made it down to Brazil!! We have the clubs pretty much in all corners of the World now and that is rather fulfilling.

Take care and keep me up on your progress,

My first month with this incridieble T Strlker ( #8 )

First time in the driving range I thought that the TS is another fake product

First 20 balls and wanted to throw it into the lake to the crocs

Then i remembered wat you said in the dvd... or a the web ... or in the testimonials...

"Pay attention, keep it easy and let the club do the work for you" or something like that

BAAAMMM

After 9 years playing golf , now I can understand how to hit easy and consistent shots.

Still had some bad ones....  but now I know why !!!

I'm not worry about  scores but they are improooooving a lot ( last sunday played  82 for the first time  this year )

Any golfers... You MUST have this if you want to have fun again in Golf

Chuck,

Thank you so much for your reply! My PGA instructor just praises your Tour
Striker.

And my PGA instructor spent some time with me that past weekend working on
that issue with my Driver as he said just about the same thing.

I will try to get that video to you as well. I just LOVE having the Tour
Striker b/c it really tell you the truth about your swing. I think that I
will practice with it alternating shots between the TS any my clubs.

Take care..... and I appreciate your emails so much.

Respectfully,
Michael

Hi Michael,

Again, thanks for the note.

Stance: your narrow stance is just fine. The stance will tend to widen as
you select longer clubs. Some great players have played with a very narrow
stance, even with the Driver.

I'm sorry to hear about your back issues. That is no fun at all. My old
mentor, George Knudson, warned against any type of "reverse C" finish. He
always wanted students to relax to full height onto their left side while
fully facing the target. No spine curvature to be "held." The ball is gone,
so relax into a manageable and comfortable position.

Regarding your driver: the slice is a club face issue first and a path issue
second.
The "inside" takeaway means very little to what actually happens at the
ball. Be very careful as to how much you rotate your left forearm. Slicers
often rotate their left forearm too much (clockwise) during their backswing
and cup their left wrist.

If you have the opportunity, please send me a video of your driver swing and
I'll take a look.

Cheers,

Martin

Dear Martin,

Please let me express my gratitude to you for creating the "TOUR STRIKER"!

As I am taking lessons from the PGA PROFESSIONAL AT THE WORLD GOLFING
VILLAGE IN St. Augustine, Florida, these professional where very impressed
by your club design. And to say the least and the if someone purchases this
club you have to be committed to the work required as it is not easy to
transform a swing that is 30 years plus old.

So, my wife went back to Brazil to visit her family for a couple of months
and I had the opportunity to take some lessons from these really great guys
at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine. So, there was your info
commercial and so I had to throw the cash at this product, sold!!!

My work with my swing started out with a much narrow stance that what you
show on your DVD. And my clubs which are customized are 1 ½ inch longer
than normal. And trying to hit these club with a wider stance is like a
real problem for me and this is also true working with the "Pro Tour
Striker" (a seven iron which is 1 inch longer) that I order from you. My
question is what it your opinion concerning a narrow stance? Essentially,
the outside of my feet are in side of my shoulders OR just about where my
arm pits are. Understand.......? Now, I have a lower back problem if I can
spell it correctly called "Spinal Stenosis"

which affects the lower back. So, ever since my diagnosis I have been
sensitive and wonder to myself how much longer can I play this game b/c I am
only 54.

So, the clubmaker who made these gave me longer shafts for a shorter
swing!!!! He knew about my back problem.

Yesterday, I spoke with your wife, Stacey, and she was so kind and gave me
your e-mail address and phone number. My question which she answered was if
there was is there "Driver" from Tour Striker and b/c all of the models on
the website where irons. The only difference is the ball position for the
driver.

I was having a problem in "dialing in my driver".

Solutions don't come easy and many of my friends tell me that I can't spend
my life on the practice tee on the driving range. I am really trying to
work at it or on it. If I bring my club back on the inside seems like I
tend to slice it with my driver which is different from my irons. One day
perhaps, I figure this out hopefully before my wife comes home from Rio de
Janerio in Brazil.

I wish you much success and good fortune. I told your wife that I would get
all of my questions together after watching the DVD (WHICH I HAVE FOR THE
SIX TIME) and send you an e-mail........

Take care.

Respectfully,
